A WhatsApp AI agent for kitchen cabinet, wardrobe and built-in furniture makers: answer materials, price-per-foot and timelines, collect the measurements and photos, and book the site visit
Every cabinet enquiry starts the same way: a photo of a kitchen and "how much?" The honest answer depends on length, material, finish, accessories and the site, which is why the quote needs a visit. But the customer who gets no reply for a day calls the next workshop, so the first reply has to come fast and gather the right things.
Quick answer
Give a WhatsApp AI agent your materials and finishes with price-per-foot ranges, your standard inclusions, typical lead times, service areas and site visit availability, and it answers the first questions instantly, explains why the exact price needs a measurement, collects the layout, rough measurements and photos, and books the site visit into a real slot. The final quote stays with you. ReplyKit runs this from $29 a month, understands the photos customers send, and keeps every lead in a CRM with the details attached.
Ranges, not quotes
Put a price-per-foot range per material and finish in the knowledge base ("Melamine from RM 180 per foot, laminate from RM 220, acrylic from RM 300, excluding countertop and appliances"), with what is included as standard, and the agent gives the range immediately with the caveat that a site visit fixes the number. Customers accept a range; they do not accept silence. The agent must not invent a total, and the instructions should say so: it gives ranges from the knowledge base and never a final figure. How to write the list is in a price list the agent can read, and the quoting pattern in handling quotation requests.
Collecting what the quote needs
- Kitchen or wardrobe, and whether it is a new build or replacing existing units.
- Rough length in feet or metres, and the layout (straight, L-shape, U-shape, island).
- Photos of the space; the agent describes what it sees and asks for a wider shot if needed.
- Preferred material and finish from your list, and the budget range.
- Location, for your service-area check and travel.
- Then it offers site visit slots and books one, and the lead lands in the CRM with every answer and photo attached.
Timelines, deposits and the questions that recur
- Lead time. "Production 3 to 4 weeks after confirmation, installation 2 days." Quoted from the knowledge base.
- Deposit. Your percentage and when the balance is due; the deposit policy templates give the wording.
- Warranty. What it covers and for how long.
- Appliances and countertop. Whether you supply them or the customer does.
- Service area. The agent declines jobs outside it politely and does not waste a site visit.
One honest note before the setup. ReplyKit connects to your number by QR pairing, the same linked-device mechanism as WhatsApp Web. It is live in minutes and needs no Meta approval, but Meta does not sanction automation this way, so a number can be restricted. We enforce limits of 30 replies an hour and 200 a day per number with a warm-up ramp for new numbers, reply to inbound messages only, and recommend a dedicated number rather than your main line. What the workshop keeps
The quote, the design, the negotiation and the complaint. The agent's value is that no enquiry waits overnight and every site visit arrives with the layout and photos already in hand, which saves the designer the first twenty minutes of every call. Renovation leads also go quiet for weeks while the customer compares; on the Growth plan the agent sends one follow-up nudge, which is often what brings them back.
Starter at $29 a month covers one number, one agent and 1,000 replies; Growth at $49 adds two more numbers, five agents and follow-up nudges; the 7-day free trial needs no card. Replies you receive and messages you send yourself are free; only the agent's own messages count. What it costs in practice.
Frequently asked questions
Can the agent quote my cabinets?
It gives price-per-foot ranges from your list and explains that a site visit sets the exact figure. It never invents a total.
Does it understand photos of a kitchen?
Yes. It describes what it sees, asks for better angles if needed, and attaches the photos to the lead for your designer.
Can it book site visits?
Yes, into real slots you define, with a reminder the day before.
What about customers outside my area?
List your service area and the agent declines politely rather than booking a visit you cannot do.
Will it follow up on quiet leads?
On the Growth plan it sends one follow-up nudge after a period you set.
Measure the kitchen, not the inbox
