Safety limit: each number replies up to 200 times a day and 30 an hour, and a newly paired number warms up over two weeks (60 a day in week one, 120 in week two). These are the recommended defaults. Is this the official WhatsApp API?
No, and we say so plainly. ReplyKit connects through QR pairing (Quick Connect), which uses the unofficial WhatsApp Web protocol, the same mechanism as WhatsApp Web on your laptop. It is fast to set up but not sanctioned by Meta. Support for the official WhatsApp Business API is on our roadmap.
Will my number get banned?
There is a real risk of restriction, because QR pairing uses an unofficial protocol, and we ask you to acknowledge that before connecting. To reduce the risk, ReplyKit replies with human-like pacing, only responds to inbound messages, never sends bulk or cold outreach, and applies recommended caps of 30 replies an hour and 200 a day per number, with a two-week warm-up for newly paired numbers. You can adjust them per number, and you are warned before raising any of them. You see a live meter for each number on your dashboard, and if a cap is ever reached the chats wait for you in the Inbox rather than going unanswered. We recommend a secondary or dedicated number.
What does Meta charge for messages?
Nothing. A QR-paired number is a normal WhatsApp account, so there are no per-message fees, template charges or API hosting costs from Meta. Your plan's AI reply allowance is the only meter, and extra replies are $10 per 1,000 if you ever need them.
How does it learn my business?
You give it your website URL, PDFs, price lists, and Q&A pairs. ReplyKit builds a private knowledge base from them, and the agent answers only from that content. When it is not confident, it says so and hands off to you rather than guessing.
Can it really book into my calendar?

Website chats land in the same inbox and CRM as WhatsApp and it books the same real slots. Web replies count against the same monthly allowance, and there is no Meta risk on this channel at all.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial with up to 300 AI replies and no credit card needed; when it ends, nothing is charged and replies pause until you choose a plan. After that, plans are monthly, cancellation is self-serve, and your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you come back.
