AiSensy vs DoubleTick: which is better for a WhatsApp sales team?
DoubleTick is built for sales teams that sell on WhatsApp all day; AiSensy is built for marketers who broadcast. Both are official WhatsApp Business API platforms with rupee pricing. This guide is for sales managers and owners of distribution, B2B and education businesses who need to know which one costs less per salesperson and which one their team will actually use.
Quick answer
AiSensy is far cheaper for small teams: Basic is ₹1,500 a month (₹1,350 yearly) for 1 owner and 5 agents, billed monthly if you like. DoubleTick starts at ₹3,000 a month billed yearly for 5 agents, with no free trial, but its Pro plan at ₹4,200 a month yearly includes 10 agents, number masking and integrations. Around ten salespeople, DoubleTick becomes competitive.
Who does each one fit?
DoubleTick fits a team of salespeople who each work their own leads on WhatsApp: a shared inbox with assignment, mobile and web access, catalogues, Excel import and export, Google Sheets, and number masking so reps cannot see full customer numbers. Its Pro plan includes 10 agents. One caution: DoubleTick's plan cards and its own comparison table disagree on which plan includes Sheets and masking, so confirm both in the demo.
AiSensy fits a business where marketing sends campaigns and a few people answer the replies: fast broadcasts, retargeting, segments, a Click-to-WhatsApp ads manager and a shared inbox for 1 owner and 5 agents on its entry plan, with a free plan to start.
Both are official WhatsApp Business API providers, so Meta's per-message charges apply on both, and both offer help applying for a verified profile (AiSensy on its free plan, DoubleTick as an add-on). If the official API is new to you, start with our guide to getting API access.
What does each cost per salesperson?
AiSensy is cheaper per seat at every size we priced, but DoubleTick's included seats close the gap on its Pro plan. Rupees a month on yearly billing, before 18% GST, from each pricing page in October 2026.
| Team size | AiSensy | DoubleTick |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 5 agents | Basic ₹1,350 (owner plus 5 agents) | Starter ₹3,000 (5 agents) |
| 10 agents | Basic ₹1,350 plus 5 extra agents at ₹750 = ₹5,100; or Premium ₹8,190 (owner plus 9 agents) | Pro ₹4,200 (10 agents) |
| 10 agents with AI | ₹5,100 plus AI agent ₹1,215 = ₹6,315 | Pro plus AI add-on: ₹4,200 plus ₹3,500 = ₹7,700 |
| 15 agents | Basic plus 10 extra agents = ₹8,850 | Above 10 agents: Enterprise, custom pricing per agent |
| Cost per seat, smallest plan | About ₹225 (6 logins on Basic) | ₹600 (Starter) or ₹420 (Pro) |
AiSensy's extra agents are listed at ₹750 a month each; we used that figure for yearly plans too, so confirm the yearly seat price with AiSensy. DoubleTick's figures come from the plan prices its pricing page loads for India. Our DoubleTick pricing guide lists every term.

| Billing options shown | Monthly, quarterly (5% off), yearly (10% off) | Quarterly, six-monthly and yearly |
| Entry plan, shortest term | ₹1,500 for one month | ₹10,500 for a quarter (Starter) |

DoubleTick's own FAQ says it does not offer a free trial and suggests booking a demo instead. In US dollars, DoubleTick Starter is $570 a quarter or $2,038.80 a year, and Pro $882 a quarter or $2,613.66 a year, with the AI add-on at $270 a quarter or $1,080 a year. AiSensy's US dollar list starts at $45 a month for Basic.

For quote and invoice messages your reps can reuse, our B2B quote and invoice templates work on either tool once Meta approves them.
What do the AI agents cost on each?
AiSensy: an AI agent add-on for ₹1,350 a month (₹1,215 yearly) on any paid plan, including 1,000 AI messages and 500 free for testing. It answers from a knowledge base with long-term memory and tool calling.
DoubleTick: no AI agents on Starter. On Pro, an AI agents add-on costs ₹12,000 a quarter or ₹42,000 a year, for up to 10 AI agents, a 50 MB knowledge base, 3,500 AI credits a month and up to 350 minutes of AI voice calls. When credits run out, DoubleTick says the agents keep working and draw from a prepaid wallet whose top-ups never expire.
On both, AI replies on WhatsApp are also service messages, charged after the first 1,000 a month per number since 1 October 2026.
What does a 10-rep distributor pay in a month?
A hypothetical hardware distributor in Rajkot has ten field reps on WhatsApp. Each week it sends a price list to 1,500 opted-in dealers (6,000 marketing messages a month), sends 1,000 order confirmations (utility) and replies to dealers about 4,000 times (3,000 billable after the free 1,000). Rupees a month, yearly billing, before GST.
| Line | AiSensy Basic plus 5 seats | DoubleTick Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Plan and seats | ₹1,350 plus ₹3,750 = ₹5,100 | ₹4,200 |
| 6,000 marketing messages | × ₹1.09 = ₹6,540 | At least × ₹0.8631 = ₹5,179 |
| 3,000 service replies | × ₹0.145 = ₹435 | At least × ₹0.115 = ₹345 |
| 1,000 utility templates | × ₹0.145 = ₹145 | At least × ₹0.115 = ₹115 |
| Total | ₹12,220 | At least ₹9,839 |
DoubleTick publishes its message rates on a separate conversation cost page by country, so we show Meta's list rate as the floor. Even if DoubleTick's margin matched AiSensy's 26%, its total would be about ₹11,320, still below AiSensy at this team size. Drop to five reps and the picture flips: AiSensy Basic at ₹1,350 against DoubleTick Starter at ₹3,000, and AiSensy wins by about ₹1,650 a month before messages.
The verdict by team size
- One to six people, campaigns plus replies: AiSensy. Cheaper, monthly billing, free plan to start.
- Seven to ten salespeople working their own leads: DoubleTick Pro, if your team will use automatic assignment, retargeting and the sales tools daily; compare with AiSensy Premium.
- More than ten: get quotes from both; DoubleTick moves to Enterprise pricing per agent, AiSensy to extra seats or its Unlimited plan.
- You want to try before paying: AiSensy, since DoubleTick offers demos rather than a trial.

For teams that mostly answer inbound enquiries
We make ReplyKit, so read this as a vendor's suggestion. If your sales team's WhatsApp is mostly customers asking for prices and availability, ReplyKit can answer from your price lists and product catalogue CSV, qualify the lead, and pass hot leads to a person in one click, from $29 a month with AI included, no per-seat fees and no Meta fees. It does not send price lists in bulk or any broadcast, and it connects by QR code as a linked device, which is unofficial and not sanctioned by Meta, so a number can be restricted; use a dedicated number.
