What is the difference between ReplyKit and DoubleTick?

DoubleTick is built to run a WhatsApp team on the official API; ReplyKit is built to answer customers for you. DoubleTick's core is a shared inbox for several agents, bulk broadcasts, catalogues and integrations, with AI agents added on its Pro + AI plan. ReplyKit's core is an AI agent that replies from your own content, qualifies the lead, books the appointment and hands over to a person when needed.

The other big difference is how each connects. DoubleTick uses the official WhatsApp Business API, sanctioned by Meta, with Meta's per-message charges on top. ReplyKit's Quick Connect is an unofficial QR pairing of your existing number as a linked device: no Meta fees and two minutes to set up, but not sanctioned by Meta, and a number can be restricted. We make ReplyKit, so weigh our view accordingly; we have tried to be specific about where DoubleTick is the better tool.

How do DoubleTick's plans compare with ReplyKit's?

DoubleTick bills quarterly or yearly, has no free trial, and adds Meta's charges per message. ReplyKit bills monthly or yearly, includes AI on every plan and has a 7-day free trial. DoubleTick's prices below were shown to us in US dollars on its pricing page in October 2026; they may display differently in your country.

On top of DoubleTick's plan you pay Meta's per-message charges for the countries you message; DoubleTick links to a country-by-country cost page. When DoubleTick's included AI credits run out, its agents keep working and draw from a prepaid wallet whose top-ups never expire. ReplyKit's extra replies are $10 per 1,000 and also never expire; ReplyKit annual billing gives two months free.

What does a month cost on each, for two typical businesses?

Both examples are hypothetical and use Meta's USD rates for India from 1 October 2026 ($0.0118 per marketing message, $0.0014 per utility or service message after 1,000 free service messages per number).

Physiotherapy clinic, 2 staff

About 2,500 enquiries answered by AI and 400 reminders a month. No promotions.

DoubleTick: AI needs Pro + AI, $308 a month billed yearly, plus about $2.66 to Meta. Roughly $311 a month.

ReplyKit: Growth, $49 a month, no Meta charges. See what Growth includes.

Online fashion brand, 5 agents

Broadcasts to 20,000 opted-in customers a month plus a busy team inbox.

DoubleTick: Starter, $170 a month billed yearly, plus about $236 in Meta marketing charges. Roughly $406 a month, and it does the job.

ReplyKit: cannot send the broadcasts. Not the right tool.

The pattern holds beyond these two: if broadcasts and a multi-agent team are the job, DoubleTick earns its price. If answering and booking are the job, you would be paying for a team suite to get an AI receptionist. The cost guide explains the parts of a WhatsApp bill in more depth.

What does DoubleTick do better than ReplyKit?

What does ReplyKit do better than DoubleTick?

The trade-off is the connection. Quick Connect is not the API and is not sanctioned by Meta. You see one plain notice before connecting and pressing Connect accepts section 3 of our Terms; we cap replies (by default 30 an hour and 200 a day, with a warm-up) and recommend a dedicated number. Our API versus QR pairing guide sets out both routes.

Frequently asked questions

How much does DoubleTick cost?

On its pricing page in October 2026, DoubleTick showed Starter at $170 a month billed yearly or $190 billed quarterly, and Pro + AI at $308 a month billed yearly or $384 billed quarterly, with Enterprise on custom pricing. Meta's per-message charges are extra and vary by country.

Does DoubleTick have a free trial?

No. DoubleTick's pricing page says it does not offer a free trial and invites you to book a demo instead. ReplyKit has a 7-day free trial with 300 AI replies and no credit card.

Is DoubleTick an official WhatsApp Business API provider?

Yes. DoubleTick works on the official WhatsApp Business API, which is sanctioned by Meta, and it offers help with green tick verification as an add-on. ReplyKit connects by unofficial QR pairing instead.

Does DoubleTick include AI?

AI agents are included on the Pro + AI plan (up to 10 agents and 3,500 AI credits a month) and on Enterprise. The Starter plan does not include AI agents. Extra AI usage draws from a prepaid wallet.

Can ReplyKit send broadcasts like DoubleTick?

No. ReplyKit only replies to people who message you. It does not send broadcasts, bulk messages or scheduled outbound campaigns, so if campaigns are central to your sales, DoubleTick or another API platform is the better fit.

Which is cheaper, ReplyKit or DoubleTick?

For answering and booking with AI, ReplyKit is cheaper: $29 to $99 a month with AI included and no Meta fees, against $308 a month or more for DoubleTick's AI plan plus Meta's charges. For broadcasts, the comparison does not apply because ReplyKit does not send them.

How we know this. On 17 October 2026 we loaded DoubleTick's pricing page, switched between its quarterly and yearly views, and read its full plan comparison table and FAQ; prices were shown to us in US dollars. We used Meta's USD rate card effective 1 October 2026 for the worked bills. We have not run DoubleTick in production, so the comparison rests on its published plans and features. We make ReplyKit, so weigh our view accordingly; for broadcasts, larger teams, integrations or zero number risk, DoubleTick is the better choice. About ReplyKit.
