Landbot pricing in 2026: every plan, the WhatsApp add-on, and what you pay when chats run over

Landbot has a free plan and a clear price list, but three meters run underneath it: regular chats, AI chats, and WhatsApp messages. This guide is for owners deciding whether Landbot fits their budget. It lists every plan as of October 2026, explains each meter, and prices two realistic months.

How much does Landbot cost?

Landbot costs €0, €40 or €100 a month for its Free, Starter and Professional plans on monthly billing, with 20% off if you pay yearly. WhatsApp with your own number is a €100 a month add-on on Professional. Business starts from €400 a month by quote.

Paid plans come with a 14-day trial and no card; when it ends you drop to Free rather than being charged.

What are Landbot's chats, AI chats and seats?

Landbot counts three things separately. Knowing which one your business will burn through first is the key to predicting the bill.

Chat

A session between your bot and one visitor following a rule-based flow, counted within a 24-hour period across all channels. Over your allowance, each extra chat is €0.05, billed in packs of 500 for €25. Landbot says it alerts you at 80% and 90% of the allowance.

AI chat

A chat handled fully or partly by an AI agent, which reads intent and answers from your knowledge base instead of only following buttons. AI chats are tracked separately, and each one over the allowance costs €0.10.

Seat

One person who uses the shared inbox to take over chats. Extra seats are €25 a month each.

If your bot is mostly buttons, the chat allowance is what matters. If you lean on the AI agent for open questions, the AI chat allowance runs out first: Starter's 100 AI chats is about three a day.

What does WhatsApp really cost on Landbot?

WhatsApp on Landbot has three layers: the €100 a month add-on on Professional, Meta's per-message fees, and Landbot's own surcharge on certain messages. Free and Starter can only try WhatsApp with Landbot's test number.

One caution: a tooltip on the same page describes the WhatsApp add-on as Meta's fee "plus a flat 20% from Landbot", which does not match the €0.05 per template in the table. Ask Landbot which applies to your account before you plan template-heavy campaigns.

The €0.05 surcharge matters more than it looks. Meta's list rate for a utility message to Spain is about $0.020, and for India about $0.0014, according to the rates Twilio republishes from Meta. On those, Landbot's €0.05 is the larger part of each reminder you send. What a language school and a roofer would pay

Both businesses are hypothetical. Meta fees use US dollar list rates; your invoice may be in euros.

On yearly billing the plan line drops to €180, saving €240 over the year. The AI overage is the line to watch: if term-start enquiries double in September, it doubles too.

Starter on monthly billing in US dollars: $45. It handles 400 chats, inside the 500 included, and 150 AI chats, so 50 over the allowance at $0.10 each: $5. Two people share the inbox, which Starter covers. Total: $50 a month, or $41 on yearly billing. No WhatsApp, because Starter cannot connect your own number.

What is included, and what is not?

Human takeover through a shared inbox is included from Starter. Removing Landbot branding, the HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho and Google Sheets integrations, webhooks and the API start at Professional. Messenger and API chat channels are not on Free, and the API is not on Starter.

Landbot also offers Agent Studio, where its team designs and builds your agent. It is included in Business and sold as a service on other plans; the price is not published. Landbot says it does not use your chats to train models and offers a DPA on request.

Is Landbot worth the money?

Landbot is worth it if you want a visual, button-led bot for lead capture on your website, and you value its builder and templates. It gets expensive once WhatsApp is the main channel, because the jump from Starter to Professional with WhatsApp takes the bill from €40 to €200 a month before overages.

Fair alternatives to Landbot
