AiSensy pricing explained: plans in rupees, what each WhatsApp message costs, and what the chatbot and AI agent add
AiSensy looks cheap at first glance, and for broadcasting it often is. But the plan, the per-message charges, the chatbot add-on and the AI agent add-on are four separate meters. This guide prices each one in rupees and dollars and works out two realistic monthly bills for Indian businesses.
Quick answer
AiSensy has a Free Forever plan, then Basic at ₹1,500 a month, Pro at ₹3,200 and Premium at ₹9,100, with up to 10% off yearly. In India it charges ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility, authentication or billable service message. Chatbot flows (₹2,500 a month) and the AI agent (₹1,350 a month for 1,000 AI messages) are extra.
AiSensy plans in rupees and dollars
AiSensy sells five plans: Free Forever, Basic, Pro, Premium and Unlimited, plus custom Enterprise. Indian businesses see rupee prices; businesses outside India see a US dollar list. Quarterly billing saves 5% and yearly billing saves 10%.
| Plan | Monthly (INR) | Yearly (INR, per month) | Monthly (USD) | Agent seats included | Built for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free Forever | ₹0 | ₹0 | $0 | Live chat dashboard | Getting the API and testing; no broadcasting |
| Basic | ₹1,500 | ₹1,350 (₹16,200 a year) | $45 | 1 owner + 5 agents | Broadcasts, retargeting, shared inbox |
| Pro | ₹3,200 | ₹2,880 (₹34,560 a year) | $99 | 5 | Adds campaign scheduler, click tracking, budget analytics |
| Premium | ₹9,100 | ₹8,190 (₹98,280 a year) | $299 | 9 | Faster sending, number masking, reports, priority support |
| Unlimited | ₹45,000 | ₹40,500 (₹4,86,000 a year) | $899 | Up to 200 | Maximum speed and a dedicated account manager |
Checked October 2026 on AiSensy's pricing page and its international (USD) page. Billing is prepaid. Extra agent seats are ₹750 a month each ($20 in USD). AiSensy says it charges nothing to set up the WhatsApp Business API, and contacts are unlimited on every plan.
Is AiSensy free?
Partly. The Free Forever plan costs nothing and gets you the official WhatsApp Business API, a blue tick application, a live chat dashboard, template creation and ₹50 of conversation credit. It does not include broadcasting, so it is really a way to get set up and answer chats by hand.
Even on the free plan, Meta's message charges still apply once you go past the free allowances, paid from your WhatsApp Conversation Credit balance. AiSensy asks you to keep at least ₹10 (or $1 on USD pricing) in that balance for chatbots and automations to keep working.
AiSensy per-message pricing in India
AiSensy lists its own per-message rates for messages to Indian numbers, and they sit about 26% above Meta's list price. Since 1 October 2026 every chargeable message comes out of your prepaid credit.
| Message type | What it is | AiSensy rate (India) | Meta list rate (India) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing | Offers, campaigns, product updates | ₹1.09 | ₹0.8631 |
| Utility | Order updates, receipts, reminders; now charged inside the 24-hour window too | ₹0.145 | ₹0.115 |
| Authentication | OTPs and verification | ₹0.145 | ₹0.115 |
| Service | Free-form replies inside the 24-hour window, including chatbot and AI agent replies | ₹0.145 after 1,000 free a month | ₹0.115 after 1,000 free a month |
Meta rates are from Meta's pricing page and its rupee rate card effective 1 October 2026. Every business phone number gets 1,000 free service messages a month; they reset on the 1st and do not roll over. Messages customers send you are free, and so are messages inside a free entry point window after a click-to-WhatsApp ad. AiSensy describes that window as 72 hours; Meta's page says it may remain open for up to 7 days.
For international numbers AiSensy charges per message at the recipient country's rate, listed on its country-wise rate sheet.
What do the chatbot and AI agent cost?
Neither is in the plan. Both are add-ons you can buy on top of any paid plan, and their replies still count as WhatsApp service messages.
Chatbot flows: ₹2,500 a month
A no-code, drag-and-drop builder for up to 5 rule-based chatbots, triggered by keywords, templates, scannable codes or Meta ads, with cart management and Shopify support. ₹2,250 a month billed yearly; $80 a month on USD pricing.
AI agent: ₹1,350 a month
An AI agent that answers in natural language from a knowledge base, with long-term memory and tool calling. Includes 1,000 AI messages a month, plus 500 free AI messages for testing. ₹1,215 a month billed yearly; $50 a month on USD pricing. AiSensy says more AI messages carry separate charges.
The detail that catches people: AiSensy's FAQ confirms that chatbot and AI agent replies are service messages, so they are charged at ₹0.145 each after your 1,000 free, and that this is separate from the AI agent's own AI message allowance. A busy AI agent draws on two meters at once.

How to keep an AiSensy bill down
Most of an AiSensy bill is set by how you use WhatsApp, not by the plan. Four habits make the biggest difference.
- Segment before you broadcast. At ₹1.09 a message, a campaign to 5,000 people is ₹5,450. Sending it to the 1,500 who bought in the last six months costs ₹1,635 and usually converts better.
- Run click-to-WhatsApp ads for new leads. Replies inside a free entry point window are not charged, so leads that arrive from ads cost nothing to follow up while the window is open.
- Keep replies inside the 24-hour window. A free-form reply is ₹0.145 after the first 1,000; reopening a closed chat needs a template, which costs at least as much and needs approval.
- Pay yearly once you are sure. The 10% yearly saving is small, so take a month or a quarter first to check the volumes in your own account.
When AiSensy is good value, and when it is not
AiSensy is good value for Indian businesses whose main job on WhatsApp is sending campaigns to opted-in customers: D2C brands, coaching institutes, event organizers. Basic at ₹1,500 with 5 agent seats, unlimited contacts and a click-to-WhatsApp ads manager is one of the lower entry prices among official providers, and the free plan is useful for getting the API and green tick application started.
It is weaker value if you mainly need an assistant that answers enquiries. Then you pay the plan, the AI add-on, a 26% markup over Meta on every chargeable message, and possibly the chatbot add-on, and the AI agent's 1,000-message allowance can run out in a busy month.
Alternatives to compare with AiSensy
We make ReplyKit, so weigh our view accordingly.
- Interakt and Gallabox are the closest Indian competitors on the official API; compare their per-message rates line by line.
- Wati costs more in rupees but includes more automation and a separate AI product.
- ReplyKit fits clinics, tutors, salons and agencies whose WhatsApp is mostly inbound. It is $29 a month for 1,000 AI replies, with booking, reminders, a leads CRM and a website assistant, and no per-message fees because it does not use the API. It connects through Quick Connect, an unofficial QR pairing method that Meta does not sanction, so a number can be restricted; read will WhatsApp ban my number and use a dedicated number. Before connecting you see one plain notice, and pressing Connect accepts section 3 of our Terms. ReplyKit sends no broadcasts or campaigns, so the Jaipur boutique should stay on AiSensy or a similar provider.
